Plan the stop around the route

Merrick sells healing upgrade items and Tarstones in Marrow Keep. Speak with him for the early Crossbow map lead, and check the displayed price before buying. Equipment upgrades are handled separately by Franz at the Tarforge.

The Collector is more conditional. This vendor appears south of Abandoned Outpost after the world is changed to night, where the Infested Stone can be bought for 1,500 Coin. If the table is empty, check the time state before assuming you took the wrong road.

Merchant route checklist

1. Pick the purchase before travelling.
2. Bring the Coin needed for that one purchase.
3. For The Collector, arrive after night begins.
4. Use the nearest Beacon so the return trip stays simple.

The patch notes also mention Black Market ambience and Merrick dialogue fixes. Those are quality-of-life changes, not proof that every merchant sells the same stock. Keep a route note with the merchant, region, time condition, and target item. For the direct route, see Find the Night Vendor.
