The campaign has six gate regions
Disciple’s Pass is the fixed opening. After it, the world opens around Marrow Keep. The six main gates divide between Fainweald and the Ruins of Mammon: Glutted Mire, Sanguine Caverns, and Prisoner’s Domain in Fainweald; then Withered Shoals, Faded Citadel, and Conquered Temple in Mammon.
Clearing a gate means reaching its boss and recovering its Ova. One cleared gate unlocks Mether’s Breath, which clears overworld corruption and opens Beacon fast travel. The walkthrough’s recommended sequence begins northeast in Fainweald, but boss order can vary; treat it as a useful route, not a restriction.
Walkthrough phases
| Phase | Main job |
|---|---|
| Disciple’s Pass | Learn attacks, parries or guards, dodges, Beacons, Gloom, and weapon materials |
| Marrow Keep | Meet Zhirelle, Franz, Merrick, and Milos; spend upgrades with a plan |
| Fainweald | Collect a map fragment, find Tiel, then begin the first gate run |
| Ruins of Mammon | Take the map fragment, then choose the next three gates |
| Endgame | Enter only when you are ready; exploration and upgrades can wait until after the route opens |
After the final boss, you can free-roam before selecting New Purpose.
A spoiler-light decision at every fork
When you enter a new region, find its nearby Beacon first. Then choose one short objective: the map fragment, a visible Shell route, a Tarforge component, or the path toward the gate boss. Finish that job and return instead of trying to empty the whole region in one run. The world has enough optional branches that an early retreat is often good route management rather than missed progress.
Use the route table as a direction, not a promise that every player should own the same weapon or Shell before a particular boss. If a new pickup has a moveset you can land more safely, test it near a Beacon and take it forward. If it does not, keep the working loadout and leave the pickup marked for later. Game Progress Route adds the gate order and Upgrades Guide keeps the material decisions separate from exploration.
