Mortal Shell II Fast Travel: How to Use Beacons
On this page
Fast travel starts at a Beacon. Open the Mether’s Breath menu there, choose a Beacon you have reached, and use it to cut back across the world instead of retracing the whole route.
Use a Beacon before a long detour
When you arrive at a new Beacon, clear it if the area asks you to. That gives you a landmark to return to later and makes the next part of the route less punishing. The travel menu groups destinations by region, so use the named Beacon in a guide rather than trying to match a vague patch of map.
Pick the closest useful stop
Fast travel is best for setting up a short run. If you are looking for a Shell, start from the Beacon named on its location page. If you need the Night Vendor, travel to Abandoned Outpost after switching the world to night. For a boss return, choose the Beacon closest to the entrance instead of the last place you happened to rest.
If a destination is missing
Check whether you have reached and opened that Beacon. Follow the route once and use the Beacon when you arrive, then check the travel menu again.
