Mortal Shell II Beta

The beta is over

Mortal Shell II is now available worldwide. The beta was a pre-release test, not a separate progression track for the current game. Steam’s launch news says the team received feedback during the beta and has continued to use player feedback after release.

That makes old beta videos useful for broad ideas such as Shell possession or stamina-free combat, but poor authority for exact damage, unlocks, or menus. The Week 1 update already changed systems including ripostes, Shell respec options, Tarcore and Glimpse economy, and Beacon exploration.

Where to watch

For an announced future test, use the official Mortal Shell site or the Mortal Shell II Steam news feed. Avoid download links or “beta key” offers that do not come through an official channel.
