Find the boat at I10
The Courier is anchored at I10, north of Greater Marrow and west of Steel Point. Speak to the person in the cabin and agree to carry the Large Package to the Dockworker at Little Marrow. The Courier gives Getting Over it with Mind and Body as soon as you accept; the delivery is still worth completing, but do not miss the book in the Cabin menu.
Select the book on the Bookshelf and let time pass while sailing, fishing, or dredging. Only one book can be active at a time, and its bonus applies when the reading progress completes. This one grants 15% panic resilience, which makes it a good early choice for a player preparing to fish at night or leave the Marrows more often.
Carry the package like a pursuit item
The package needs cargo room. Make that space before docking at I10, then sail the short route to Little Marrow and hand it to the Dockworker. There is no reason to cross toward Devil’s Spine with it: the job runs between two Marrows stops, so use the nearest safe dock if it is getting dark.
The important failure condition is losing the package. Do not discard it to make room for a valuable fish, and avoid rushing through hazards just because the recipient is nearby. The pursuit resolves as delivered or lost; it is not a repeatable merchant delivery.
Put the book to work
Panic resilience is useful when the plan requires a night-only fish, but it does not make hull damage, fog, or hostile water harmless. Read the book before a deliberate night trip, then still set a dock as the finish line. Pair it with Night Fishing and Panic rather than treating the bonus as permission to drift until morning.
