Immortal Ever After
Valerie Moyer does not believe in vampires until a fanged psychopath kidnaps her.
About
Immortal Ever After is a paranormal romance by the Canadian writer Lynsay Sands, published in 2013. It belongs to her Argeneau series and picks up the story of a woman who has just been through something the series normally keeps off the page.
Valerie Moyer did not believe in vampires until a fanged psychopath abducted her. She gets away from him, and decides that she is finished with the creatures of the night altogether, which makes the next few weeks awkward, because she finds herself under the protection of Anders.
Anders felt a connection to Valerie from the moment he carried her bruised body, and he is not inclined to let her go. He has two things to persuade her of: that he is immortal, and that she is the woman he is meant to spend his life with. Before he can claim her he also has to destroy the vampire who nearly took her from him, and Valerie fights him at every step of the way, which is not the welcome Anders had hoped for.
