Hungry for You

Hungry for You is a paranormal romance by the Canadian writer Lynsay Sands, published in 2010. It belongs to her Argeneau series, in which vampires are the descendants of an ancient people and live quietly among human beings.

Cale Valens is one of the oldest members of the Argeneau clan and has stopped expecting to meet the person he would spend his life with. He has had a very long time to get used to that idea. His friends and family have not stopped expecting it for him, and when they decide they have found the right woman they arrange an introduction, which is where the lie comes in.

Alexandra Willan is two weeks away from opening her restaurant when her chef resigns without notice, so the arrival of a highly recommended replacement is a relief, at least until it becomes clear that the man has not eaten an ordinary meal in two thousand years and cannot so much as follow a recipe. He is determined to prove himself in her kitchen, she has a business to open, and neither of them is being entirely straightforward about what they want.
