Demon's Souls PS5: Tower Knight Strategy
On this page
Start by deciding whether the archers are the problem. If their arrows keep interrupting your healing or camera, use the stairs to clear them before committing to Tower Knight. It makes the arena quieter and leaves the fight with one source of pressure. If you are comfortable moving under the boss, the stairs also remain a reset point when you need to heal.
Stay behind the shield and attack the backs of Tower Knight’s legs. A hit to the heel is safer than a swing at the shield, and repeated damage makes the boss fall. The opening is the head: move in, strike while it is down, then leave before the recovery animation turns into a stomp. Do not lock into a long combo. A heavy shield slam and ground attacks punish players who keep attacking after the fall window has ended.
When the boss is upright, watch its feet rather than its face. Roll away from the stomp’s impact area, return to the rear, and repeat. Ranged characters can still use the same rhythm: bait an attack, create distance, and cast when the boss is committed. The win opens the next Boletaria stretch but not its later gate; see Base-Game Progression for why another Archstone must provide an Archdemon first.
