Mr C takes Richard to a place indicated by two matching sets of coordinates and sends him onto a rock to investigate. Richard is engulfed by electricity and vanishes while the double watches, then calls him his son. In Las Vegas, Chantal and Hutch wait outside the Jones home, where a dispute with a neighbour becomes a gunfight that kills them both. Cooper remains in hospital after the electrical shock, watched by Janey-E, Sonny Jim and Bushnell. When he wakes, his speech and purpose have returned. MIKE gives him the ring, and Cooper asks for another manufactured replacement before arranging a flight toward Twin Peaks.
Diane receives a message and goes to Gordon's room, where she describes the double's assault and the place he took her afterward. Her account becomes fragmented as she says she is at the sheriff's station and that she is not herself. She draws a gun, but Albert and Tammy shoot first. The figure disappears and reappears before MIKE, who identifies her as manufactured before she dissolves. Cooper tells Janey-E and Sonny Jim that he loves them and must go, promising they will have someone coming home through their red door. The Mitchums help him reach the airport. Audrey finally dances at the Roadhouse, but a fight interrupts her. She suddenly appears before a mirror in a stark white room, frightened and disoriented.
