Mark checks on Petey, whose reintegrated memories are making it difficult to distinguish his past at Lumon from the present. Petey explains that people opposed to severance helped him merge the two sets of memories, but Mark refuses to try it himself. At work, Helly's outside self rejects her resignation, so she writes a message on her arm and tries again to get out. Irving suggests a tour of Lumon's Perpetuity Wing might give her a reason to stay. There, he guides the team through wax figures of the Eagan family and a replica of founder Kier's home, presenting Lumon's history with religious devotion.
Helly slips away during the tour and breaks a window with a fire extinguisher, hoping to pass a note to her outside self. Security catches her, and Milchick makes her repeat an apology in the break room until he accepts it as sincere. Outside, Cobel sneaks into Mark's home to inspect a book Ricken left on the porch, while Petey hides from her. Mark later finds Petey's map concealed inside an old team photograph. Petey wanders away and suffers a severe episode near a convenience store. Mark reaches the scene as paramedics carry Petey away, then returns home and clears the basement. He discovers that Petey's phone is still there and ringing.
