Spoilers for this episode and earlier episodes.

Angela is taken to a house and left in a strange room with a young girl who asks her a series of unsettling questions. A computer, a telephone and an aquarium turn the interview into something Angela cannot easily understand. The girl insists that refusing to answer will bring punishment upon her. Angela tries to comply and make sense of the test before Whiterose enters and takes charge of the conversation herself.

Whiterose speaks about the deaths of Angela's mother and Elliot's father as though they served a larger purpose. She says Angela should already have been killed and questions why Price considers her so important. What Angela is shown beyond their conversation remains withheld. After leaving, she tells her lawyer that she will no longer pursue the matter. Elsewhere, Dom meets institutional resistance to confronting the Dark Army, while Price pushes Ecoin as the answer to the financial crisis.

Elliot uses a lucid dreaming exercise to observe Mr. Robot while trying to keep his own awareness intact. He follows the concealed activity through a coded message and a telephone number to a waiting taxi. Tyrell joins him, reappearing after his long absence. Elliot asks the driver to confirm what he sees, provoking an argument that puts them out on the street. Tyrell says the preparations for Stage Two are ready, though Elliot still does not know what he has supposedly planned.
