At Vamonos Pest, Walt and Todd prepare acid to dispose of Mike’s body. Jesse asks what will happen to Mike’s jailed men without their hazard payments, but Walt tells him the problem is no longer his because he quit. Lydia offers Walt a route into overseas distribution in exchange for the men’s names. Walt appears to accept, then reveals a ricin vial hidden beneath his hat after she leaves. He asks Todd to arrange a simultaneous killing of Mike’s incarcerated crew. Jack’s men carry out the attacks across three prisons in under two minutes. Walt’s business then runs for months, bringing in millions.
Skyler shows Walt the pile of money she has stored and tells him there is too much to launder through the car wash. She asks how much will be enough for him to return to family life. Walt says he will stop, visits Jesse, and leaves him bags of cash; Jesse sees the money and puts away the gun he had hidden. Walt Jr. and Holly move back home. At lunch, Hank finds the copy of Leaves of Grass Gale gave Walt in the bathroom and reads Gale’s handwritten note. The matching handwriting makes Hank realize that Walt is Heisenberg, closing the episode on the discovery.
