Walt tells Jesse that he needs time to reassure his family after his supposed fugue state and hands him $600 before they part. The next morning, Walt makes an upbeat breakfast for Skyler and Walter Jr., but his forced cheer only makes them more uncomfortable. Skyler leaves without explaining where she is going, and stays away for much of the day. Jesse meets with his parents and an attorney after they discover the meth lab in his basement. They give him 72 hours to leave his late aunt’s house. When his mother arrives with movers the next morning, Jesse pleads that he can change, then angrily reminds her that he cared for his aunt while she did not.
After his mother slaps him, Jesse asks friends for somewhere to stay, but nobody takes him in. His motorcycle and belongings are stolen, and an attempt to reach the RV leaves him covered in waste from a portable toilet. Clovis later throws him off the storage lot for not paying; Jesse breaks back in and drives through the gate. He takes the RV to Walt's neighbourhood to demand his share of their earnings. Their argument becomes a fight before Walt finally pays him and offers breakfast. Walt's attempts to reassure Skyler have also failed: she keeps leaving without explaining herself, and ends the episode smoking a cigarette despite her pregnancy.
