Mike and his crew clean Jimmy and Kim’s apartment while the couple go to work. They return to a spotless home, but neither can treat the night as if it has passed. Gus faces Hector’s accusation at Don Eladio’s house. With no proof that Lalo survived the attack on his compound, Eladio dismisses Hector’s claim and divides the territory between Gus and the Salamancas. Gus tells Mike to restart construction of the lab, then visits a wine bar and speaks warmly with a sommelier before abruptly leaving. Mike tells Nacho’s father that his son is dead and promises the Salamancas will face justice; Manuel rejects that as revenge.
Jimmy and Kim attend Howard’s memorial at HHM, where Cheryl asks what happened to her husband. Jimmy gives a careful account of Howard’s visit, and Kim invents a story about seeing him use drugs, reinforcing the cover-up. Afterward, Kim withdraws from her law practice and tells Jimmy she cannot keep living with the harm they cause together. She admits she knew Lalo was alive but concealed it to preserve their scheme, then leaves Jimmy. A time jump shows Jimmy fully operating as Saul Goodman: he courts a client, works from an extravagant office and handles a stream of criminal cases. The episode ends with Saul returning to his routines, while Kim’s decision has severed the partnership that shaped their legal work and schemes.
