Contains spoilers for Better Call Saul season 6 episode 12 and earlier episodes.

Kim lives in Florida under a quiet routine, avoiding decisions at work and at home. A phone call from Jimmy brings their separation back into view: she urges him to turn himself in, and he angrily challenges her to confess her involvement in Howard’s death. Kim flies to Albuquerque and gives Cheryl a written confession describing the plan to ruin Howard and the truth about his death. She also files an affidavit with the district attorney. After the visit, Kim breaks down on the airport shuttle. In a flashback, she signs divorce papers in Saul’s office, where her former partner has filled the room with the flashy trappings of his legal persona.

Gene continues the burglary scheme with Jeff and Buddy, breaking into a man’s home to steal identifying and financial information. Gene lingers to steal watches and nearly strikes the waking victim with an urn before the man passes out again. Jeff is later caught after a car crash and arrested, and Marion begins to suspect that Gene has lied about who he is. She searches online and finds an old Saul Goodman commercial. When Gene visits her, she confronts him and activates her Life Alert. Gene threatens her, then backs away as Marion calls for help. The episode ends with Gene exposed and facing the consequences of his latest scheme, while Kim has finally told Howard’s widow what she and Jimmy did.
