Play the Three Expansions
On this page
The Complete Edition contains the full game plus the three expansions with additional story chapters, and each one takes the story somewhere specific.
Dragon of the North
The first expansion opens up the Tohoku region, where the one-eyed dragon Date Masamune is secretly gathering spirit stones. A named region and a named historical figure make this the most geographically distinct of the three, and it is the one that adds a new part of the map rather than a new chapter of a siege.
Defiant Honor and Bloodshed’s End
Defiant Honor follows Sanada Yukimura through the Siege of Osaka’s winter campaign, and Bloodshed’s End joins the summer campaign of the same siege as the Warring States period draws to a close. The store calls the second of those the final chapter of William’s tale, which makes the pair a single two-part ending.
The Steam-exclusive helmet
The Steam version adds the Dharmachakra Kabuto, and the store explains exactly how to get it: claim yours by selecting Boons from a shrine. It is a small item, but the instruction is precise enough to follow without guessing where to look for it.
The story those expansions finish is covered in following the road to Osaka. The combat they escalate is covered in fighting the warriors and the Yokai.
