Run the Cat Loop
On this page
Mewgenics is built on a daily loop rather than a single campaign march: the store describes assembling a team each day from your ever-growing house.
Assemble the team
Welcome to Boon County is how the store opens the loop, and each day you assemble a team from your ever-growing house. Treating the house as the real progression rather than any individual cat is the fastest way to understand what a run is actually for.
Collars set the class
Cats are outfitted with class-specific collars, and the store names Fighter, Tank and Mage as examples among many more. Because the class arrives as equipment rather than as a permanent choice, the team you send out is something you assemble for a job instead of a party you commit to once.
Turn-based, and aware of the room
Adventures are turn-based battles that demand careful positioning, wild power combos and environmental shenanigans. The word environmental is doing real work in that sentence: a fight that rewards the room you are standing in is one where reading the layout matters as much as the numbers.
What those cats come home with is covered in breeding the next generation. How deep the ability pool goes is covered in planning around hundreds of abilities.
