A Court of Silver Flames
Nesta Archeron is proud, quick to anger and slow to forgive, and since the war she has been unable to find a way to live with what she has seen.
About
A Court of Silver Flames is a fantasy novel by the American writer Sarah J. Maas, published in 2021. It continues the Court of Thorns and Roses series, but it moves the point of view to Feyre's sister.
Nesta Archeron has been a difficult character since she was introduced: proud, swift to anger, and slow to forgive anybody, including herself. What has happened to her since the war is the subject of the book.
The novel is concerned with what she does with the state she is in, and the people around her have opinions about that, which she does not take well. A good deal of the book is spent on the relationships she has been avoiding, and on the people who will not let her avoid them.
It was a New York Times bestseller on publication, and it is the book in the series that follows the story of the sister rather than of the main couple. It is also the longest of the books in the series so far.
