Bernard wakes on a beach roughly two weeks after Dolores killed Ford. Karl Strand's Delos force has arrived to retake the park, and Stubbs brings Bernard into its investigation. His memories are fragmented, and the recovery team kills surviving hosts while searching for an explanation. A dead Ghost Nation host's recorded memories show Dolores threatening him over passage to the valley beyond.
Earlier, immediately after the gala massacre, Bernard escapes with Charlotte Hale. His host body is failing, a secret he struggles to conceal from her. Charlotte takes him to an underground laboratory where white drone hosts collect guest information and biological samples. Rescue depends on recovering Peter Abernathy, who carries the company's missing data. Bernard secretly takes fluid from another host to keep himself functioning.
Elsewhere in the uprising, Dolores hunts guests with Teddy and refuses his offer to escape together; she intends to take the fight into the human world. Maeve forces Lee Sizemore to help find her daughter, with Hector joining them. William survives and receives a new challenge through the child host modeled on Ford: find the door. Back in Strand's later search, the team discovers a flooded valley filled with host bodies, including Teddy. Bernard says he killed them, without explaining how.
