Wednesday's family helps recover a vision of Gomez and Morticia burying Isaac beneath the Skull Tree. Morticia explains that Isaac's earlier machine would have killed Gomez to remove Françoise's Hyde, and stopping it cost Gomez his electrical powers. Isaac now intends to use Pugsley as a replacement power source. At a midnight meeting, he captures Thing and reveals that the hand was his own before Morticia severed it. Reattaching Thing restores his abilities, and he buries Wednesday alive. Agnes brings Enid to the grave. Although a full-moon transformation could trap her permanently as a wolf, Enid changes to dig Wednesday out, then runs into the woods.
At Iago Tower, Françoise asks Isaac to remove Tyler's Hyde instead of hers. Wednesday frees Tyler from the machine while her family rescues Pugsley, unleashing a fight between the two Hydes. Françoise dies, and Thing turns against Isaac, tearing out his mechanical heart. The Addamses survive, but Enid remains missing in wolf form. Capri approaches Tyler with an invitation to a community of Hydes, while Wednesday chooses to search for Enid with Fester. Morticia gives her Ophelia's journal as their relationship begins to mend. A new vision connects Wednesday to her missing aunt, and the final scene shows Ophelia alive beneath Hester's house, writing a threat against Wednesday on the wall.
