The Return, Part 14

Contains spoilers for this episode and earlier episodes.

Frank tells Gordon about the diary pages suggesting two Coopers, bringing the local inquiry directly into the FBI's investigation. Albert explains the first Blue Rose case to Tammy: a dying woman and her identical counterpart, with one body disappearing. Diane reveals that Janey-E is her estranged half-sister, prompting Gordon to ask the Las Vegas office to find the Jones family. He also describes a dream in Paris that returned him to an earlier encounter with Jeffries. The memories and new evidence make the double more than a private suspicion, though the investigators still lack the real Cooper's current location.

In Twin Peaks, the deputies arrest Chad before following Briggs's instructions into the woods. They find Naido lying near the designated place, and a vortex takes Andy to the Fireman. He sees images of Laura, the two Coopers and events at the station, then returns knowing that Naido must be protected. The group brings her back and places her in a guarded cell. At the Great Northern, Freddie tells James how the Fireman sent him from London with a green glove that gives him extraordinary strength. James later hears the unexplained hum near the hotel's machinery. At a bar, Sarah opens her face to reveal darkness and kills the man harassing her, leaving the others unable to explain the sudden violence.
