Gordon and Albert invite Tammy into the Blue Rose task force, explaining its work on cases left beyond the reach of ordinary investigations. Albert acknowledges how many of his original colleagues have disappeared, but Tammy accepts the assignment. Diane is also asked to help and agrees to a temporary role. Her private messages continue, and she checks the coordinates from Ruth's body, finding that they point toward Twin Peaks. Chantal and Hutch fulfil Mr C's order by killing Warden Murphy outside his home. The attack leaves his son calling for him as the hired killers turn their attention to their next destination.
Sarah Palmer becomes distressed in a grocery store, questioning a changed display and warning the clerks before abandoning her shopping. Hawk visits her home afterward, but she keeps him outside while an unexplained sound comes from the kitchen. Frank tells Ben that Richard killed the boy and attacked Miriam, who now needs urgent medical treatment. Ben agrees to help pay and gives Frank the returned key to Cooper's old room. Carl quietly gives money and rent relief to a resident who has been selling his blood. Audrey argues with her husband Charlie about finding Billy and going to the Roadhouse. Charlie finally calls Tina, but refuses to tell Audrey what she said, leaving their departure suspended in another argument.
