Contains spoilers for this episode and earlier episodes.

AJ spends heavily at nightclubs and sells his drum kit to cover a large bill. His proposal that his parents buy him a club meets rejection. He then takes a knife to Junior's psychiatric facility, intending revenge for Tony's shooting. Junior asks AJ to take him home, and AJ drops the knife before attacking. Orderlies restrain him as he tries to flee. Tony obtains his release through Zellman and angrily confronts him outside.

AJ says he wanted to avenge his father like Michael Corleone in The Godfather. Later, another nightclub acquaintance asks him to seek Tony's help with a landlord dispute, and AJ suffers a panic attack in the restroom. In New Hampshire, Vito calls Marie using a stolen phone and warns her against trusting Phil. His friendship with Jim develops awkwardly: Vito rejects a kiss and starts a fight, but later returns, acknowledges his dishonesty and begins a sexual relationship with him.

Tony receives increasingly generous offers from Julianna Skiff for the building occupied by Caputo's poultry shop. He initially defends the neighborhood business, then agrees to sell. Before he leaves to sign the papers, Carmela helps him button his shirt. At Julianna's apartment, their kissing stops when she begins unbuttoning it, and Tony abruptly leaves. Back home he vents his anger over missing smoked turkey. Patsy and Burt separately discover that a corporate coffee shop will not submit to their protection racket.
