Christopher's heroin use has become impossible for Adriana to ignore. While intoxicated, he sits on Cosette and kills her. He is later robbed, beaten and carjacked while trying to buy more drugs. When Adriana urges him to seek treatment, he assaults her, and she goes to Carmela with visible injuries. Junior suggests killing Christopher, but Tony instead agrees to an intervention. Family and associates gather to explain the damage his addiction has caused. Christopher responds with insults, and the meeting collapses into violence when Silvio and Paulie attack him. At the hospital, Tony warns that Christopher's relationship with him is the reason he remains alive and orders him into rehabilitation.
Ralph's disappearance also troubles the crew. Some suspect Tony killed him over the horse, while Tony tries to redirect suspicion toward Johnny Sack and the dispute over housing profits. He tells his men not to retaliate without proof. Tony grieves Pie-O-My in therapy and orders the newly delivered portrait destroyed. Paulie saves it from burning and has Tony repainted in a military uniform before hanging it at home. Furio returns from Italy but keeps his distance from Carmela, who confides her attraction to Rosalie. Tony has sex with Svetlana at Junior's house, only to be disappointed when she declines an ongoing affair. Christopher enters treatment under Tony's instructions, while Paulie remains uneasy beneath the altered portrait.
