Christopher and Brendan hijack a truckload of DVD players, unaware that the company pays Junior for protection. Jackie Aprile settles the dispute by ordering restitution, and Tony warns the young men to leave that company alone. Brendan ignores the instruction and sets out to steal a shipment of suits. Christopher backs out, so Brendan recruits inexperienced partners instead. One drops a gun during the robbery, and its accidental discharge kills the driver. Tony demands that the stolen goods be returned to Junior, although his own men take some suits before the shipment goes back.
Carmela asks Tony to find A.J.'s teacher's stolen car. Pussy and Paulie locate the thieves but discover that the original vehicle has already been dismantled. Another car of the same model is stolen and fitted with the old plates, leaving the teacher puzzled by its new colour and keys. Livia's ability to live alone also becomes harder for Tony to defend. She starts a kitchen fire, drives away a nurse and accidentally injures a friend with her car. Tony moves her into Green Grove and struggles with guilt over the decision. When Melfi suggests that he acknowledge his anger toward his mother, he leaves the session. At the Bada Bing, Georgie's difficulty using the telephone enrages Tony, who beats him with the receiver.
