Most of the Roys attend Argestes, hoping to finish the PGM acquisition, while Shiv shadows Frank in New York. Hugo tells Logan, Kendall and Gerri that a magazine story about Brightstar Cruises is about to publish. They discuss pressuring the magazine, and Logan calls Shiv to join them as a public representative. Tom and Greg struggle with an ATN slogan as Greg discovers the company mishandled viewers’ private data. Roman and Gerri seek financing from Azerbaijani billionaire Eduard Asgarov; he offers help in exchange for Waystar propaganda.
When Nan and Rhea arrive for breakfast with Logan and Kendall, the exposé goes live. The story describes serious misconduct aboard the cruises, and the siblings are sent to a conference panel. Shiv, Roman and Kendall offer conflicting answers; Shiv calls Logan a dinosaur and suggests he should step aside. Logan strikes Roman afterward. At the evening roast, comedian Zell Simmons mocks the family over the scandal. Nan walks out, fires Rhea for conspiring with Logan, and cancels the PGM sale. Logan watches her leave without a way to salvage the agreement. Before the public confrontation, Tom privately tells Shiv that his handling of the cruises documents could make him the company’s scapegoat.
