Kendall calls Pierce Global Media chief executive Rhea Jarrell from the Waystar rooftop, while Shiv arrives at the office for her first day. Protesters challenge ATN anchor Mark Ravenhead over alleged Nazi sympathies, and Logan asks Tom to investigate. Connor and Willa attend board member Mo’s funeral, where Connor hopes to attract campaign donors and Michelle Pantsil probes his knowledge of Mo’s past. Willa helps Connor prepare a bland eulogy. Kendall brings Rhea to Logan, but she says the Pierces have no interest in selling.
Tom interviews Ravenhead, then a reported gunshot sends staff into lockdown. Logan, Shiv and Rhea share a secure room; Tom and Greg are left in an ordinary office. Logan and Kendall use the delay to persuade Rhea to reconsider PGM, and she accepts a substantial offer. Greg tells Tom he wants to leave ATN, then reveals he saved cruise scandal papers and uses them to secure a promotion. Roman’s training program gives him a new friend and a ride idea, though he skips presenting it. The next morning, Kendall finds suicide barriers installed on the rooftop. Logan learns the gunshot was a suicide linked to workplace bullying. Kendall tearfully tells Shiv that loyalty to Logan is all he feels he has left.
