Kendall serves Logan with the hostile takeover documents before Shiv and Tom’s wedding. Logan is furious and immediately turns to his lawyers. At the reception, he tells the siblings what Kendall has done, angering Roman and Shiv. Shiv admits her affair to Tom and suggests they have a non-monogamous marriage. Tom forgives her, then ejects Nate from the wedding. Roman slips away to watch the satellite launch Logan assigned him; the rocket explodes on the launchpad, injuring workers but killing no one. Greg reveals his saved cruises documents to Kendall and uses them to request a better position in the company.
Logan fires a young waiter after he spills champagne and gives him cash and an NDA. Later, Kendall takes drugs with the waiter, Andrew Dodds, and they drive off to find cocaine. They swerve to avoid a deer and crash into water. Kendall escapes but cannot free Dodds, then returns to the wedding and says nothing. Police search the next morning. Logan tells Kendall he will make the case go away if Kendall ends the takeover and goes to rehab. Kendall agrees and breaks down in his father’s arms, leaving Logan in control. Police have recovered his room key at the crash site, giving Logan evidence connecting him to the death.
