Otis and Eric join Remi on a camping trip, hoping for time away from their complicated relationships. Remi's confidence does not match his ability to navigate, and bad weather leaves them lost before they retreat to a hotel. Eric admits that he has been seeing Adam, prompting Otis to question whether his former bully can be trusted. Eric in turn challenges Otis's relationship with Ola and his unresolved feelings for Maeve. The friends argue, then apologize. Otis is disappointed again when he learns that Remi's visit followed another betrayal of his partner rather than a simple wish to spend time with him.
At home, Jean admits to Jakob that she kissed Remi, damaging their relationship. Maureen decides that she wants a divorce, leaving Adam caught in another family argument. Maeve attends Erin's recovery meeting but is angry at what she hears; an afternoon with Isaac gives her space to talk before she returns to comfort her mother. Jackson helps Viv approach Dex and begins questioning the assumptions they have made about each other. Otis decides to honor Ola's demand and sends Maeve a message ending their contact, only for Ola to break up with him. Recognizing her attraction to Lily, Ola kisses her instead. Eric chooses to make his relationship with Rahim official and ignores Adam's attempt to see him that night.
