Pablo Escobar walks away from La Catedral and past soldiers who cannot bring themselves to stop him. His escape leaves President Gaviria facing the collapse of the surrender agreement, while Murphy and Peña confront a fugitive who still commands loyalty and fear. Pablo reunites with Tata and the children, then begins reclaiming control over the business outside his former prison.
Taxi driver Limón offers a way to move through the city without attracting attention. His friend Maritza rides along as part of the cover, becoming involved without understanding whom she is helping. A woman reports Pablo's whereabouts to the police, and La Quica retaliates against the women he suspects. Peña and the Colombian officers pursue him and Limón through the streets, but the men escape into the market.
At home, Murphy discovers that Connie has taken their daughter to Miami. He reaches the airport too late to stop her, then attacks two men using cocaine in a restroom and needs Peña to get him out of custody. Pablo sends Fernando Duque to propose returning to La Catedral, treating his escape as another opening for negotiation. Gaviria instead announces a reward for his capture and publicly refuses any deal, closing the route Pablo hoped would restore his protected life.
