Elliot needs a senior bank employee to log in before he can use the access obtained at Virtual Realty. He meets Leon, then brings Olivia a coffee and asks her to help him stop the Deus Group. When she refuses, he says he has put drugs in her drink and threatens the custody of her son. Olivia calls her boss, but Elliot's betrayal leaves her in distress. She goes to the bathroom and cuts her wrists. Elliot finds her and stops the bleeding. She eventually makes the call that allows him to capture her boss's credentials, then orders Elliot out after condemning what he has done.
Dom tracks Darlene to Angela's apartment and takes her captive. Janice orders Dom to kill her because Elliot is the priority, threatening Dom's family if she refuses. Dom cannot carry out the murder. Instead, she knocks Darlene unconscious and later begs her to kill Dom so the family might be spared. Darlene refuses, and Janice arrives to discover that Darlene has wiped her phone. Elsewhere, Vera holds Krista hostage and threatens her boyfriend until she gives him information about Elliot and Mr. Robot. Krista calls Elliot under duress and warns him about Vera. Knowing that the proposed meeting is a trap, Elliot goes anyway and is abducted by Vera's men.
