Elliot wakes in Tyrell's SUV with three days missing from his memory. At the arcade, Darlene tells him that the attack succeeded while he was absent. E Corp's records have been encrypted, markets are collapsing and fsociety is publicly claiming to have freed people from debt. The other hackers destroy their equipment and turn the arcade into a party to obscure evidence of their presence. Elliot searches for Tyrell, but Joanna says he has not returned home. Calling himself Ollie, Elliot leaves without learning what happened during the missing days. Tyrell's disappearance remains unresolved, despite Elliot's fear that he may have hurt him.
Angela begins her new job at E Corp and witnesses executive James Plouffe kill himself during a live interview about the disaster. Price encourages her to continue working rather than abandon her place in the company. Elliot finds a USB drive in the SUV containing footage of the boardwalk fall: he went over the railing without another man pushing him. He threatens to surrender to the police to force Mr. Robot to appear, then argues with the persona amid crowds celebrating fsociety. Back home, a knock interrupts him and he opens the door, leaving the visitor unseen. In a final scene, Price meets privately with Whiterose, showing a connection between the corporate executive and the Dark Army's leader.
