Roy kills Odin after his father-in-law mocks his handling of the siege. Dot shoots Roy in the stomach, but gunfire between the militia and federal forces allows him to escape through a tunnel. Witt pursues and orders him to drop his knife; Roy closes the distance and stabs Witt to death. FBI officers arrest Roy at the tunnel exit after Gator reveals the escape route. Gator apologizes to Dot, who promises to visit him in jail. Dot learns Witt has died before returning to Wayne, Scotty and Lorraine. A year later, Dot and Scotty join Indira at Witt's grave with flowers.
Lorraine visits Roy in prison and tells him she is financing other inmates by clearing their debts and adding money to their accounts. In return, they will abuse him while keeping him alive. Back home, Dot finds Munch sitting with Wayne. He says her injuries to him still require repayment, even though he freed her to fight Roy. Dot challenges his insistence that every debt must be paid and invites him to help prepare dinner. Munch washes his hands, mixes biscuits and joins the family for chili. He describes being forced to eat a dead man's sins and living under that burden. Dot offers him a biscuit made with love; he takes a bite and smiles.
