Yasin is now missing in 2019, and Charlotte asks Elisabeth to describe Noah, the man who gave her the pocket watch. She also confronts Peter with the camera image contradicting his alibi. In 1986, Noah visits Mikkel in hospital as a priest and discusses belief with him. Ines worries about the plan to place Mikkel in a children's home, while young Hannah meets him outside the hospital and shares a conversation about magic.
Ulrich ends his affair with Hannah in 2019, but she refuses to accept his decision easily. The episode also follows their teenage relationship in 1986. Hannah watches Ulrich and Katharina have consensual sex, then falsely reports that Ulrich assaulted Katharina. Egon believes Hannah's account and arrests Ulrich. In the present, Katharina asks her husband whether he is cheating, and he denies it despite her growing suspicion.
Bartosz answers Erik's phone and arranges to meet the caller, who introduces himself as Noah. Jonas agrees to accompany him but instead goes to see Martha, and the two kiss. Earlier, the Stranger approaches Jonas at Michael's grave and speaks about having known his father. He also sends Jonas a package containing a light, a Geiger counter, and Michael's letter. Reading it, Jonas learns that Mikkel remained in 1986 and grew up as Michael Kahnwald: the missing boy is Jonas's father.
