Jack forces the wounded operative guarding Hamid to provide a number for Tony. A partial trace sends the FBI toward Adams Morgan, where Jack intercepts Tony's van and captures him with a damaged computer. Tony refuses to reveal the target. Janis recovers enough information from the computer to identify Jibraan's location on the subway. Cara has already placed the timed canister beneath a seat on his train, leaving Jibraan to be blamed for the attack when it reaches Washington Center Station.
Connected to Jibraan's earpiece, Jack explains that Hamid is safe and that the men controlling him are framing him. Jibraan recalls seeing a woman from the kidnapping leave the train and searches for the package after the passengers get off. He finds the canister with very little time remaining. Jack urges him to carry it up to the street, where the FBI arrives with a containment unit. Jack seals the weapon inside just before it releases the pathogen, then collapses as his medicine stops controlling his symptoms.
Olivia learns that Collier authorized Hodges's killing and finally transfers the money. Aaron, suspicious of her behavior, calls Ethan about recordings in the chief of staff's office. At the airport, Kim seeks reassurance from a seemingly friendly couple after noticing a man watching her. The man is her FBI protector, whom the couple's male operative kills. Cara then shows Jack a live image of Kim and threatens her life unless he helps Tony escape. Jack boards the transport with Renee and Tony under those orders.
