Evelyn tells Jack and Wayne that she hid a recording of Logan speaking with Henderson in a bank's safe deposit box. Jack leaves her and Amy at a motel and asks Audrey to bring her father into the investigation. Logan meanwhile issues a fresh warrant blaming Jack for Palmer's assassination. Karen orders Audrey followed, but Chloe helps her remove the tracker and attach it to a utility vehicle before she continues to the airfield.
Jack and Wayne force bank manager Carl Mossman to leave home and open the vault. Inside, the recording confirms Logan's involvement and Henderson's role in Palmer's murder. Mossman offers to help once he hears the conversation. At the motel, Evelyn collapses and Amy calls emergency services. Henderson traces that call, kills the attending paramedic and confronts Evelyn. His men then surround the bank, preventing Jack from simply walking out with the evidence.
Jack has Mossman trigger the silent alarm, counting on the arriving police to draw fire from Henderson's team. Chloe also disrupts the satellite feed being used to track Audrey, protecting her route to Secretary Heller. When police reach the bank, Henderson's gunmen attack and Jack uses the fighting to escape with Wayne and Mossman. Mossman is shot during the run to a police car and dies inside it. Jack tells Audrey they have proof against the President.
