Jack interrogates Paul about the company linked to the terrorists' planning house. Paul denies knowingly helping them, and Audrey watches in horror as Jack uses an electrical cord to force answers. Paul's computer records identify a buyer using the name Harris Barnes. CTU connects that alias to Habib Marwan at the Rockland Building, where Curtis has been captured. Curtis survives an attempt to dispose of him by feigning unconsciousness and attacking his guards. He retrieves a phone and reaches CTU. Tony pressures Dina with the prospect of Behrooz going to prison, and she confirms that Marwan has the override at the same building.
Jack joins Curtis for a discreet search of the office floor, where ordinary employees fill the cubicles. They initially approach the wrong man. When Ali notices the agents, the resulting gunfire alerts Marwan and exposes his location. Marwan fires into the air to clear an escape route, leaving the override behind. Curtis recovers it and works with Edgar to stop the remaining meltdowns. CTU celebrates the reactors responding, but Driscoll reaches the clinic to find Maya dead after cutting her wrists. Jack continues chasing Marwan and discovers a stripped CTU body. He warns the team that Marwan is wearing the dead officer's uniform, but Marwan shoots Solarz.
