Lies of P: Legion Arms, Quartz and Legion Calibers

Legion Arms use their own resource
A Legion Arm is an off-hand tool with its own Legion gauge. The gauge does not refill continuously by default: rest at a Stargazer or use a Legion Magazine when you need more during an outing. Some later upgrades add other ways to recover Legion.
The arms fill different roles, and several stronger actions only appear after upgrades:
| Arm | Base role to learn first |
|---|---|
| Puppet String | Pull a target toward you |
| Fulminis | Charge a close-range Electric Blitz discharge |
| Flamberge | Hold a short-range stream of fire |
| Deus Ex Machina | Place an explosive mine |
| Aegis | Raise a defensive shield |
| Pandemonium | Spread an acid field in front of you |
| Falcon Eyes | Fire an explosive projectile |
Aegis does not begin with every shield attack available, and Puppet String’s movement options also expand through modification. Check the preview at the Venigni Craft Machine before describing an upgraded action as part of the base arm.
Plugs craft; Calibers modify
The first Legion Arms arrive through early story progress. Later Legion Plugs craft additional arms at the Venigni Craft Machine, while Legion Calibers unlock modifications for arms you already own. Equipping another crafted arm and refunding Caliber upgrades are separate actions.
Choose an arm for a job you understand: Puppet String for target control, an elemental arm when its damage type fits the enemy, Aegis for a defensive option, or Falcon Eyes when you need a true projectile. Test the base action before spending Calibers on its upgrade path.
Quartz builds the P-Organ
Quartz belongs to the P-Organ. Inserting it into a slot grants the selected slot ability; filling every slot in that node also activates the node’s larger synergy effect. Quartz comes from exploration, encounters, quests and some shops, so the system is broader than boss rewards alone.
The best choice depends on how you play. More healing capacity helps when attempts run long, Guard Regain support rewards blocking and counterattacking, and dodge or stagger options matter only when you use those actions. Fill a node you value instead of scattering Quartz across several unfinished synergy effects.
Current versions provide P-Organ Recalibration at the Saintess of Mercy Statue or Gold Coin Tree, where you can remove individual Quartz or reset the P-Organ. Legion Arm modifications have their own reset at the Gold Coin Tree. Both features arrive through story progress and are different from simply equipping another arm for a fight.
Pair this with Getting Started for the defensive basics and Weapon Assembly for blade and handle upgrades.
