Give Wolfie a neighboring ally
Wolfie transforms and deals more damage when an ally next to him is defeated. Put a teammate beside him, then check that relationship after any formation change. Wolfie’s trigger
Choose a neighbor who also contributes to the fight. There is no need to sacrifice that ally just to trigger Wolfie’s ability.
Recognize the trigger during the fight
Watch Wolfie’s neighbor when the enemy attacks. If that ally falls, look at Wolfie for the transformation before planning his next attack. If a different hero elsewhere falls, check its position instead of assuming any allied defeat should transform him.
