The Santangeli Marriage
Marisa was an orphan, and the wealthy Santangeli family raised her on one condition: that she marry their son.
About
The Santangeli Marriage is a romance novel by the British writer Sara Craven, published in 2008, and it is set between the world of a wealthy Italian business family and the marriage that family has arranged for its son.
Marisa was an orphan, and it was the wealthy Santangeli family that raised her. Their single demand on her was that she marry their son, and she agreed to it.
Lorenzo Santangeli is an Italian billionaire and a celebrated playboy, and he arrives at the marriage expecting that his innocent bride will be his on their wedding night. Marisa is twenty, and she cannot bring herself to share a bed with a man who married her for the purpose of producing an heir. She runs.
Lorenzo then sets about getting his wife back, because, as the novel puts it, you do not say no to a Santangeli. What he intends is that once she is home she will belong to him entirely, and the story follows what that means for the two of them after her flight.
