The Raven Boys
Blue Sargent comes from a family of clairvoyants, and the only ability she has is that other people's talents become stronger when she is near.
About
The Raven Boys is a fantasy novel by the American writer Maggie Stiefvater, published by Scholastic Press in 2012.
Blue lives in a house of clairvoyants, and her own gift is a strange one: she does not see the future, but her presence makes other people's abilities work better. She is also carrying a prediction made about her years ago, that she will be the cause of her true love's death, which has never seemed like a problem worth worrying about. The boys at Aglionby Academy are known locally as raven boys, and Blue's policy is to avoid them. Then she meets Gansey, who has talents of his own and a search of his own under way, and she finds that the two of them together make something more dangerous than either of them alone. Aglionby Academy is the expensive private school in the town, and the search Gansey is running is for something far older than either of them.
