The Chase

The book is told by its female lead, who has moved into a house shared by her brother and two of his friends. One of them is Colin Fitzgerald, known as Fitzy: a hockey player, a video gamer and, in her description, a nerd who has decided that she is a superficial person who behaves badly. That opinion is the first thing standing between them and it is not the only one, because Fitzy is close to her brother and his best friend has feelings for her as well. She has decided that she is not going to chase anyone, and she has other problems to deal with, including a new college, a professor who behaves inappropriately and no clear idea what she is going to do afterwards.

Fitzy's opinion of her is the first obstacle and not the last, since he is close to her brother and his best friend also has feelings for her.
