Stacy Thompson plans other people's weddings for a living and has seen enough of them to be wary of one of her own.

About

Stacy's wedding is a romance novel by the American writer Aisha Ford, published by Heartsong Presents in 1999.

Stacy Thompson's job is organising weddings, which has given her a close view of the best and the worst that couples do to one another, and she has no wish to be a bride herself. She meets Max Edwards in the course of that work. Max changes the calculation, and the book follows the two of them as their interest in each other grows. Both of them have private fears that make the relationship difficult, and neither is good at saying what they actually mean. A secret one of them has been keeping then threatens the arrangement before it has settled, and the novel concerns whether they can be honest enough to survive it.

Stacy's work is the reason she has sworn off marriage, and the book follows whether that holds.
