Juniper Hill
Memphis Ward arrives in the small town of Quincy, Montana, with her newborn daughter and very little else, on the worst week of her life.
About
Juniper Hill is a contemporary romance by Devney Perry, published in 2022 by her own imprint and part of a series set in the town of Quincy, Montana. It follows Memphis Ward, who moves across the country with a newborn baby after a collapse in her own life, and Knox Eden, a chef who has taken the house at Juniper Hill as his retreat.
Memphis arrives with no money, no support and a baby, and takes the job of cleaning the house where Knox is living. He is not looking for company and she is not in a position to refuse the work, so the novel works through the practical arrangements first: a roof, a wage, a vehicle, and the people in town who take an interest in both of them.
Perry writes small-town romance built on work and neighbours, and this book keeps the family situation in Memphis's life as the pressure the relationship has to survive. It is one of a sequence of novels set in the same town.
