Her Soul for Revenge
After years on the run, Juniper makes a bargain with a demon who has wanted all of her for a long time: she gives him her soul and he helps her claim the revenge she is owed.
About
Her Soul for Revenge is a dark romance by Harley Laroux, published in 2021. Its central character, Juniper, has spent years on the run from a cult.
The cult once tried to sacrifice her to their god, and everything she has done since has been necessary to survive. That changes when a demon makes her an offer: her soul in exchange for help in claiming the vengeance she is owed.
The demon's side of the story belongs to Zane, who has long hungered for all of her. What she is bargaining with is not only a favour but an appetite, and she accepts the terms anyway.
The book makes clear that damning her soul is only the beginning, because what the demon wants next is her heart, and the two of them are working towards a revenge in which the monsters she once ran from are the ones being hunted. The bargain is the only plan she has left, and it takes her back towards the people who tried to kill her.
