Eyes of Fire

Eyes of Fire is a romantic thriller by the American writer Heather Graham, published in 1995. It is set on a small island in the Caribbean, where a wreck full of treasure has been luring people into the water for generations. The bounty is supposed to lie somewhere inside the Bermuda Triangle, and it has already cost the lives of two men Samantha Carlyle was close to.

Samantha Carlyle has already lost two men she was close to, both of them drawn away by the hunt for the bounty, and she has no intention of following them. She wants to be left alone to run her dive resort on Seafire Isle, and the arrival of Adam O'Connor, an old lover of hers, is not the quiet she had in mind.

What begins as an unwelcome visit becomes something else when somebody tries to abduct her, and when she begins to suspect that the guests staying at the resort are not the people they say they are. The book follows her through a tangle of lies, and it is as much a mystery as it is a romance.
